As a cake loving nutritionist, I have found many ways to incorporate sweet delicious treats into my healthy eating routine, and they certainly don’t compromise on taste.
Try using wholemeal flour instead of refined white flour for the added fibre and B vitamins. Also, use stable oils such as coconut oils. Delicate fats such walnut oil can be ruined at high temperatures and is then no longer healthy to eat. Coconut oil can withstand high temperatures and is still healthy.
